Students, Parents, Teachers & Education Organisations

Our tours for exchange and international students studying in New Zealand schools are scheduled for the school holidays in April and September, and visit either the North or South Islands. We also run shorter tours in July, November and December.

Up and down the country, NZET tours are welcomed because of the lively and supportive group atmosphere.  This is achieved through the skills of our Tour Managers by using a mix of games and activities.

These scheduled tours are a great way for students to get to know New Zealand and at the same time improve their English. We have a wide variety of student nationalities on our tours so the group is expected to speak English at all times, which our students find very beneficial in learning the language.

During their action-packed tour students learn about New Zealand’s culture including its Maori customs, the country’s historical background, fascinating ecology and its unique wildlife through interesting visits, activities and walks. Our tour manager ensures the students gain in-depth information about their experiences to enhance their understanding. Touring students also enjoy the most fun New Zealand can offer with the chance to try a range of included and optional activities such as sea kayaking, skydiving, bungy jumping, zorbing and jet boating.

NZET’s professional tour managers lead the groups with the support of chaperones, who usually represent the students’ exchange organisation. All travel is by air-conditioned coach for optimum comfort.
